Letter from the CEO

On behalf of our team of staff and medical professionals, thank you for considering our hospital. Our skilled and experienced staff is sensitive to the transitions you and your family may be undergoing. We strive to earn our reputation for leadership in quality care each and every day, working to offer the highest level possible of expertise and experience in the name of healing. Our guiding principle is simple – to provide quality through people.

As a patient, you may be experiencing mixed feelings about coming to a new hospital instead of your home. Most of our patients come from other hospitals where they have been for a period of time. Adjusting to new routines and caregivers may make you feel uncomfortable for a few days. But know that every employee of our hospital is here to help you through this transition and make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Kindred Hospital Central Tampa was also honored by the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) with the Association’s Quality Respiratory Care Recognition (QRCR). Our hospital received the designation based on strict safety and quality standards related to the provision of respiratory care services by qualified respiratory therapists.

For family members, we encourage you to take good care of yourself so together we can take good care of the patient. Please do not hesitate to ask for information or help as you need it.
